PenMount bulletin has been released
regularly since 2007, let us review the almost
100 bulletins, we hope to offer you the news
of our products at the first moment by this
bulletin. This week is the last week of
2009, we do thank you for your support and
concern. Because of you, we are able to
finish our assignment and job successfully.
We’d like to review our products of this
year by this bulletin, and we expect your
support for the coming year. Please share
our merits with everybody, and tell us our
shortcomings. The main job of PenMount this
year is as the points below:
PenMount is one of the first few brands that
support multi-touch. With PenMount M1
Controller, plus the resistive touch screen,
you can operate 2-12 zones at the same time,
it’s highly suitable for industrial and
medical products. Thank you all, due to the
release of this product, many of our
customers have started to use this concept
for designing their products.
PenMount Gesture software provides the
gesture of single finger or two fingers. For
single finger operation, it has provided 15
functions of gesture. For two finger touch
operation, PenMount provides 6 functions of
gesture, to let the users be able to use the
hot keys and application programs in windows
environment. Via the operation of gestures,
you can open the application programs and
functions as you want.
The PenMount touch controller has passed the
Microsoft Windows 7 logo certificate this
year, and are also compatible with the
previous Windows operating systems. The
PenMount device drivers also supports
Windows Embedded CE , QNX 6.4, OpenSolaris,
and many systems base on the Linux kernel,
such as: Ubuntu, Fedora, openSUSE, Mandriva
and Slackware. In 2010, we will still keep
providing the renewal and support for the
new needs.
To aim the special needs of the customers,
they can now integrate part of the functions
of the control board software interface,
such as: calibration, multiple monitor
mapping and gesture recognizer to their own
program, via the PenMount API, which is
provided by PenMount SDK. Customers can also
reach their goals by referring to the
develop documents.
Some certain products hope to add some other
functions to the control board, PenMount is
willing to offer the customized design, to
modify the firmware in order to fulfill the
needs of the customers. Take the multimedia
system key for example, we add the control
key operation program into the control
board, now you may use your often use
functions by operating the hardware
directly.
PenMount Team keeps our idea and services to
provide the complete control boards and
drivers. The projected capacitive touch
controllers are under development and are
scheduled for release next year. We are also
working hard in developing many other new
hardware. PenMount wish to grow up and get
stronger with you.
