In the latest version of PenMount Windows
Universal Driver, PenMount has passed the
Microsoft's compatibility tests and received
the “Compatible with Windows 7” logo. The
PenMount Windows Universal Driver not only
provides single touch control feature but
also offers PenMount single-touch gesture
function. The PenMount single-touch gesture
utility is a mouse emulation device’s
application which provides 15 kinds of
gestures under Microsoft’s Windows XP,
Vista, and 7 operating systems. This feature
can be used under both USB and RS-232; user
can easily and conveniently use the PenMount
gestures instead of the keyboard’s hotkeys.
PenMount gesture utility not only provides
some defined functions to mapping the
functions of the operating system but also
allows user to define their application
program to map and able to turn on/off of
individual gesture type by PenMount Gesture
operating interface.
For operating systems like Microsoft Windows
XP Tablet PC Edition, Windows Vista, and
Windows 7, a new hand input device type is
defined, in addition to the traditional
mouse emulation for touch panel. As a
result, user may use the applications like
handwriting, Journal, Sticky Notes, Pen
Flicks, etc., to improve their touch
activities. When using the PenMount 6000 USB
controller with the driver designed for pen
input devices, user not only can enjoy the
built-in applications for Tablet-PC, but
also can use the PenMount calibration
utility for touch panel linear correction.
If you are using Microsoft Windows XP Tablet
PC Edition, Windows Vista, or Windows 7,
