Computex Taipei 2009 wrapped up over a week
ago, on June 6 to be precise; and most
attention was centered on the touch control
products. And as to the PenMount controllers
at the exhibition, the most popular were the
ones with Widows 7 supported integrated into
an 8.9 inch Projected Capacitive Input (PCI)
touch screen and a 15 inch Multi-Finger
resistive touch screen, as well as the 8.9
inch PCI touch screen with Google’s Android
and Linux Ubuntu 9.04 supported. No doubt
there were a lot of system integrators and
touch monitor makers who demonstrated their
solution during the show but there was
rarely anything like that of what PenMount
provided, the total touch solutions with
Windows 7, Android, and Linux operating
systems performing single and multi-points
touch functions.
PenMount is not only dedicated to its new
resistive and projected capacitive
multi-touch solutions but is also very much
focused on developing the newest drivers for
Linux system such as, Ubuntu 9.04, Fedora
10、Fedora 11、openSUSE 11.1、CentOS 5.2、Debian
5.0. Further more, Sun Microsystems has
announced that the PenMount 9000 and
PenMount 6000’s drivers have passed the
testing and verifications under OpenSolaris.
We are honored and pleased to list down in
