We are honored to introduce the new
controller “PM 6202 COMBO” in this week’s
bulletin. PM6202 COMBO control board is
based on PenMount 6000 chip designed for
RS-232 and USB COMBO interface. PM6202 keeps
the same features and functions of PenMount
6000 series, but with an added special
feature which is direct connection to the
touch screen without going through the an
extension cable. PM6202 COMBO control board
provides 4- or 5- wire connector of Pin
Header or ZIF to connect with 4- or 5- wire
touch screen. We also took into
consideration the mechanical design of the
new control board to meet specific markets,
unlike its other members of the PM 6000
board series, PM 6202 is long and narrow in
its physical design.
The PM6202 control board provides two
separate connectors; one is 2.54mm pitch of
4pins and 5pins Pin Headers and the other is
pitch 1.0mm 4 pins ZIF connector. These
connectors support most, if not all, of the
4- and 5- wire touch panels in the market.
